I LOVE this song. The first verse hits me so hard. I ran from Him because I was afraid who wouldn't love me anymore. I got on my knees and gave Him my life. That was 17 years ago. Now I am a preacher telling others of the love I found. Thank God He's not who I thought He was.

Christianity has nothing to do with Jesus , whst you saw is the character that was invented by the early church fathers and Christian’s and called it Jesus , it’s not son of Mary the one that was sent by God, that one if you want and you have to follow him to get God rewards , you need to keep and follow the commandements of God and worship the only one true god alone otherwise it’s all delusions and visions thst can be from the devil , being Christian is being Astray and pagan and blasphemic unless you want to follow a human being despite of God and That Jesus fabricated image half god half dunno all blasphemic outreagous claims despite sin of Mary the blessed messenger who taught Monotheism Jesus won’t care about you unless you follow whst he asked for For more questions about son of Mary and God commandments and the prophecies ( ask a Muslim don’t ask non Muslims they will dig you into wrong way that leads to hellfire ) God don’t like at all and concider it a Big sin somone who associate human being or image or worship Any of that despite him the unseen Allmighty beyond limits and imaginations Far away from What you people describe

Today one of my readings was from Jesus, I trust in You 30 day retreat. Jesus takes me to the story of the women at the well. Jesus’ love for each person is unique. He healed individuals, called His disciples by name, and spent time listening to the plight of person after person. His encounter with the woman at the well (John 4:1-42) offers us a glimpse of how tailored His heart is to each of us. Although she likely is not aware of her search for God at the moment, Jesus initiates the conversation by asking her for a drink. Shocked that He would be interested in associating with her, for she was a Samaritan woman, she is further surprised by His offer to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him and he would have given you living water” (John 4:10), referring to the grace of Baptism and the gift of the Holy Spirit. She responds as we often do. Doubting the Lord’s capacity to really meet us in the depths, she says that the cistern is deep and He has nothing to lower into it. However, she confesses that she desires this living water to satiate her thirst and so that she does not have to keep coming back to the well. Little does she know that Jesus is already in the depths of her heart’s cistern. The conversation continues as He reveals to her the number of false lovers she has had, which convinces her He is at least some type of prophet, able to read her soul. Jesus indeed is in this cavernous place of her longing, of her search for love that not one of these “husbands” could satisfy. Realizing that her soul is exposed to Him, with its extensive thirst to be known and loved, why did she not excuse herself and walk away at that point, feeling judged? Afterward she even proclaimed publicly, with joy, that someone had told her all she had done. This was the content of her message and what brought all the people of her town out to see Jesus (John 4:29-30). She wasn’t slighted; rather, this experience of being deeply known prompted her to ask Jesus about where one should worship God. The Invitation: There is a space within where no one but God has access. It is here I encounter Him, who knows the ways I have looked for love. The regrets, heartaches, betrayals, and humiliations, as well as the joys and desires. Experiencing this personal knowledge opens our hearts in trust to worship the one who continues to love us as He holds the whole of our lives. When I don’t feel understood or supported, can I take a few minutes to share that with Christ, making this an opportunity for belonging rather than isolation? “You know that the foundation of the world is love, so that even when no human being can or will help you, you may go on, trusting in the One who loves you.”3 • Whether we realize it or not, we worship whomever we look at to fill that deep space within-maybe another, myself, an ideology, or God. Yet God alone is deserving of our worship, as our Creator. He who holds us in existence shows us that the very depth of our hearts points us to loving an eternal, personal God. Worshipping God is an expression of trust, a response to His continual attentiveness to me in sustaining my life. When I go to Mass, can I pray by consciously opening my heart to receive God and to give my love to God, through this communal and individual worship of Him? • We can connect with friends or catch up with a spouse about our day, and still feel unmet. In this, God is inviting us to become aware of the sacredness of this space and thus reverence it not only in our own heart but in those around us. Am I expecting my friends to fill me or trying to consume my spouse? Alternatively, we’ll never be able to meet the infinite needs of another person; so, likewise, we can begin to recognize when to point them toward the Lord, who is awaiting a more personal encounter with them.

God's presence isn't a feeling it's a promise. Feelings come and go. Jesus said He would never leave lr forsake those He bas saved. Read His word and trust his promises not your feelings.

I was an atheist for 25+ years and deeply anti Christian. I thought all believers had Sky Daddy issues and I could out-debate any believer, easy. But in August 2020, at my lowest, I decided to cry out to Jesus for the first time - though at that time, I didn't really believe what I was praying. I'd just never try it before and decided, why not. I just said in a prayer, "God, I don't believe You are real. I see no evidence that you are real. But IF You are, show me, and I will give my life to following you". I meant every word. I wasn't trying to 'challenge' God; I just wanted to know the Truth. And boy, did He answer. Shortly after, I physically experienced the Holy Spirit, like electricity, fill my body. It was mind-blowing. I also saw signs and wonders that would be absolutely IMPOSSIBLE without God. Again and again and again. Today, I am a believer and have devoted my life to glorifying Jesus through various ministries. Following Him has been the BEST decision I ever made. Is life always easy? Far from it. But even the hardest day with God is better than the 'best' day without Him. There is nothing more meaningful than having a relationship with the One who gave us life. All glory to God. In Jesus' name, amen.

I grew up christian but im struggling trying to figure out why i believe what i believe. Im too scared not to believe in god but faith shouldnt be based on fear. Idk what to do :/

We've all heard about the two criminals next too JESUS on the cross. One shouted profanities and the other ask forgiveness. Yes it's true that the one to ask for forgiveness Jesus said I truly I'll meet you in Paradise today, but the other one that shouted profanities he could only shout for so long because it was so hard to breathe. So as he hung there and his last fleeting moments of life so hard to breathe probably even too hard to even open his eyes but he's mind he cried out to Jesus. We all think we can go through life not needing Jesus but even on our death bed you need him even more. I'm so glad that he's not the god that some people think he is he doesn't set up there was a hammer or switch ready to come down and swap you whenever you do anything wrong he's not that way his way is that he would die on the cross again just for you

Thank you for this reminder! I don’t feel God like I used to. I toil in His word daily and haven’t heard anything from Him in a long time. I feel broken and completely helpless and useless at times when I’m around others because my faith feels obliterated and completely gone. How can I encourage others when I’ve been so discouraged and life continually punches me in the face? Then again, my hope and faith is not in the Bible or how I feel about God on a given day but solely in Jesus Christ!

This song is so underrated.

This happens to many. And in my case I had to be taken by the hand and led like a blind man into the light and the grace of our Lord and Savior. It was a struggle but in him we have our hope.
